The main reason why I chose best price moving was because of the attractive price. But after my experience, I have found that it might have been worth it to pay more given the low quality and uncompetent service I was given at Best Price Moving and Storage. Out the gate, the company seemed efficient and competent when picking up my items from Chicago to head to Atlanta. However, they dropped the ball several times when completing out their contract of dropping off my things. I was told on more than 4 occasions that my items would arrive on specific date over the phone, but no one called or showed up. Finally when they did show up things were missing and broken. For example, my dresser was damaged due the fact that someone stepped on it and pierced a hole in my dresser. Also, mirrors where broken as well as there was missing pieces of my dining room table. In fact more than a month later after my delivery, I am still waiting for my dining room table. I was then told by the long distance dispatch that they would send it through USPS, but they were unable to coordinate that effectively so I have not received it. To date, they continue to tell me that someone will drop off my dining room piece after 3 days of taking off work to accept the package at my new home. On other note, Best Price has large communication errors with the staff. I have on several occasions received called from the supervisor stating that my dining room table would be here on this date. But, later I would receive a call from long distance dispatch stating another. Further, verbal promises to call me back would yield nothing more than me having to follow-up the next day. I would recommed best price moving if you don't care when they call you back, show up, what they bring and what they break.
