I am absolutely agree with other clients that all positive reviews were written by this company's representatives. My experience was a nightmare and I don't wish anybody to repeat it.
When I contacted Best Time Movers for the "free" quote I talked to Sala, who is, as I know now, a receptionist without probably any professional knowledge about moving. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of that at the time, and when I talked to her I asked her "professional" opinion what would be the high end to move 4 bedroom house so I won't have any surprises at the end. She told me that 4.000 pounds would be more than enough, so she gave a quote of $2800 including gas charges. Long story short, after they packed my things and charged me 1.700 (!!!) for packing materials, they called me from the road and told me that the final bill is going to be $7.000,00! And if I don't pay them in cash it is going to be a fine of $1.600.
On top of that the supervisor Ily who was in charge of the pick-up was trying to solicit me for a 10% tip for movers to "make sure that the job was well done". I guess I should have paid it because they did a terrible job on assembling my furniture (my step daughter actually fell inside a bed-frame that night because they didn't do it right) and broke a lot of staff that they actually packed (don't forget $1700 in packing materials).
