I made a reservation at 7 pm on a Friday, thank God I didn't pay the whole deposit. I canceled the next day at 9 am, they are refusing to return the $200 deposit. They said it's "Booking Fee." What was done between 7 pm and 9 am over a weekend which justifies keeping the money? Use companies that don't take a deposit. Asking for a deposit should be an alarm. Use Allied, United, Atlas, they seem to be ligitimate and don't ask for an advance deposit. You get an actual quote by someone who comes to your house, takes the inventory himself. It looks more expensive but honest. After I saw the reviews I decided not to use them; I was right, they wanted something for nothing! Even a month before an actual move.
