Caliber Moving Company moved my furniture intown in Austin TX on 6/15/09 and damaged many pieces including some expensive leather couches and microsuede couches. They also did significant damage to the walls and doorways in both houses.
I contacted the owner Tony Reil many times asking him to open a claim with his insurance company but he just kept denying they caused the damage. We went to small claims court and still I got nowhere since it was basically my word against theirs.
So, I'm out $1810 I paid to repair my furniture and house plus court fees, time, and sanity. I am at my wits end with this mess after nearly 4 months and it seems my only recourse is to warn others.
Do not trust Caliber Moving or Tony Reil!
