I moved after I retired with my daughter + grandson from Connecticut to Florida. After Century had all my items wrapped + on truck, they come back in the house to tell me the space/weight on the truck was different than the quote + told me I owed them an add'l $3-4,000 more than I had been told would be the price after filling out and updating the pieces being moved. What was I to do? I was sooo angry that my daughter had to finish dealing with them as I couldn't speak to or look at them. I could not afford this. I was a single disabled woman on SS in a wheelchair. When we got to Florida +got adjusted, we ended up going bankrupt. I wish I never heard of Century. I have never forgiven them. Even tho I moved in July 1+1/2 yrs ago, I am still upset. Looking at other reviews, I see this is typical procedure for them. DO NOT USE CENTURY MOVING SERVICES. USE A LOCAL SMALL MOVERS OR SOMETHING ELSE. ANYTHING ELSE.
