It all started out great. Spoke with Jessica about the service they can offer moving my 2 BR household from Delaware to Indiana. Explained everything was prepacked (stored in Garage). We talked about my items. I send her an items list and was given a quote. After looking over all my stuff i realized i missed some items and added to the cubic feet. I was going to move into my Townhouse on 4/4 and asked when my household items needed to be picked up to be delivered on 4/4 and if that was a guarantee. "Oh yes we deliver any day of the year, holidays and weekends". I questioned this weekend because it was Easter but, after her confirming with her Manager John, she assured me he said i will get it there. Just in case something should go wrong we also had 4/5 and 4/6 as back up days. Pick up day: Given, i had moved all my stuff originally in a 17 ft UHaul holding 865 cubic feet, now, when loading the Truck, i am being told i have 1200 cubic feet? Really?! Needless to say i am at their mercy since they have all my stuff in their truck! I am frantic! I contacted Jessica who then gave me her Manager John's phone number. AND HE IS A DOUCHE! He will not call you back. He will let your calls go in Voicemail that "is always full or not set up". When you do get him on the phone he says he is in a meeting, call me back in an hour and you wont get a hold of him again. 4/3 comes around and no call from Chad's Moving. So no stuff on 4/4. Get a hold of John who says "it's holiday weekend. my drivers are off. earliest tuesday". Great!!! Was i not assured my stuff would get here on 4/4? Fine. Just get me my stuff. I call on Monday. He is trying to have them here Tuesday. .. Tuesday, I call and the Truck broke down. They have to order a part... Thursday comes and they are still waiting on the part. Needless to say I am doing all the calling. Nobody calls you EVER! I ended up calling every day. Excuse over Excuse. When i finally threatened to call my household goods in to the police as stolen i did get a reply via text message to call him next day. 2 days later I finally had my stuff but the whole ordeal was the worst experience ever! I don't think i will ever use a Moving Company again! IT TOOK 23 DAYS TO GET MY STUFF!!!!! Very unprofessional! They lie and tell you what you want to hear and then they don't follow thru. I am not done with them. I have contacted the Attorney Generals Office, am contacting the BBB and will go to the small claims court! DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
