I was quoted a price by Alex, the liar. that should've included the complete packing of a what amounted to a studio apartment in NYC. I expected it to go up a little once the movers got there, but not by nearly $1000. After the packing was all done and the truck was loaded, the movers told me what the price was going to be. They were charging me extra for "truck space" which was being shared with another delivery they had in Boston that day apparently. They let me speak with their customer service person who basically told me to either accept it or they would dump my things. What did they think I was going to do?
The actual movers were courteous and hard-working and did the job. The sales end of this company should really tell the customers the truth instead of telling them what they want to hear in order to make a sale at any cost.
I vehemently DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!
