I am a 76 year old cancer patient, with limited use of one wrist and have COPD.
Cross Country Moving and Storage of 1089 Taft Street, Rockville, MD repeatedly assured me, that my full service move (pack, move, unpack, and put away) would be done in 12 hours or less for the move of an estimated 10 miles, within Montgomery County, MD. They repeatedly assured me the move would be complete, all things to be unpacked (since I physically could not unpack and put things away) and that I would be completely satisfied for the price of $1950.
THIS IS THE VERY WORST MOVER, IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, IN MY OPINION.
The total time from pickup to delivery, for ten miles to a one bedroom apartment was 16 hours.
One of the three movers could speak some English. They marked perhaps 10% of about 80 cartons, with contents. The remainder, was "open them up and find out".
They "got lost with their gps" for FOUR hours, in ten miles to my new location, and did NOT call me. That made the arrival time at 9:15 PM. It took four more hours just to unload XXXwith NO UNPACKING , let alone putting things away, as agreed.
They refused to unpack and put away unless I paid them more money.
Their customer service is non-existent. No response to my many complaints or request for my discount.
