(first job begins)The first time I used Dimensions Moving, I spoke with David ex. 106. He was WONDERFUL. Friendly, nice, polite and just all around fun and easy to talk to (yes, I mean fun). It was a blast. He explained everything that I needed to know. It does not matter what kind of stupid questions I asked or how irritable I was being, he handled it and was great about it. David said the job would be done in two hours. And it was done in exactly two hours, not a minute more or less.(first job ends)
(second job begins)This time I spoke with another person. This person was no David. David helped me out when I couldn't get through with this person (this was only two months after I first spoke with David). The whole conversation was 40 minutes, which it should not have been this long. (second job ends)
(first job begins)The movers from first time were an hour early, which lucky, I was all packed and ready to go. I don't know if they would blame the charge on me if they were an hour early and I was not ready. They tried to renegotiate with me again to raise the price 400 dollars more. It was annoying and wasting my time. When we paid, they added the numbers all wrong so that we would had to pay two hundred dollars more. We straightened them out. Besides the negotiation part, they were quick. I mean QUICK. Up and down THREE flights of stairs, RUNNING with the boxes. Very satisfied with their quickness and energy. Job was done in two hours for 225 dollars. Minimum charge was three hours for 225 dollars for a crew of two. I had eight boxes, TV, VCR, microwave, exercise bike, four folding chairs, a heavy folding table, bunk bed unscrewed in pieces with a mattress, two cabinets, a vacuum, a suitcase and probably a couple of other things. (second job begins) I booked time at 1pm. They called the day before and said they couldn't do it. They had to make it between 9-11. If they had called earlier, I would have changed movers. It was a Sunday and that would mean I have to miss church. I told them I booked at 1pm already. They said there is nothing they could do about it. That's not acceptable. When I asked if can they give me the exact time, instead of over a time span of 9-11. They said they couldn't.
This time, my movers were Ben and Ervan(?). They were EXCELLENT. On time at exactly 9am. They were punctual, polite, considerate, and most importantly - to-the-point and did not waste my time. They came in and just went straight to the paper works, explained everything and did not waste my time with any irrelevant talks or tell me that they needed to raise the price for various reasons. They were Very Honest about the "Amount Not To Exceed" which is a reasonable charge for additional services or if time took longer than exacted. They did not over charge us like the previous time (which was the previously mentioned additional 400 dollars). They were quick during the job. At the end of the job, they also helped us to unfold the heavy table and carry the TV out of the box onto the a cabinet. That was AFTER we have paid them. There was no need for them to do that, but they did it anyways. Job was done in two hours for 225 dollars.
