I used Dimension for my move on 05/31/08 I was given an over the phone quote of 1055.00 for an all day 8 hour move. When the crew arrived they started packing my stuff, then proceeded to tell me my total, at this point what can I do, then i was told I had to pay for TAPE, what the hell no one ever said this to me over the phone, basically I was told have your things in order and ready to go, I was never told I was going to have to pay 144.00 for 36 rolls of tape. The crew was decent enough to let me know when they were packing things what was broken, BUT failed to let me know when they broke my stuff!
On top of all this I signed a biding contract and was given one amount, then when we discussed things later after advising we had an hour drive to our new home, John proceeded to tell me " Oh I forgot to charge you double drive time!" Oh well not my issue guess your gonna have to eat those fees! Thats what I wanted to say, but then when we got to my new home he then changed the quote, WTH! Did I mention I bought them a special lunch packed them coolers with drinks, sandwiches etc, gave them a case of liquor and also my mother cooked them dinner! Scumbags! Oh and tipped them!
To top it all off after the were done I proceeded to go up to my room to put on my jewelry for a night out, yes that same night, and lo and behold my WEDDING RING and necklace my husband just bought me was gone! I am devastated I proceeded to call Trisha the sales rep that next Monday and left her a message stating we had a big issue and I needed her to contact me, of course she never returned my call, the only response I got was after an e mail I sent in which she stated her men have never been accused of stealing and she was forwarding this to her manager. Whatever, so he called left a message, and basically I am not wasting my time, I am filing a suit against them for the missing items, and moving on.
Beware of this company they are shady they tell you one thing come out and rip your heart out along with your bank account, good luck with these people if you do decide to use them! Don't say you haven't been warned!
