With the kids all out of the house we decided to enjoy our life; sell our large house in Chicago, and buy a smaller one in Florida for a quiet, early retirement. Of course at first we weren't sure exactly what we would be taking, since we hadn't bought a house yet, and didn't know what would fit in it. Our representative Lee was very patient and pleasant when we called in every week to update the inventory, and took things off we had managed to sell. In the end we really downsized, and the price was decreased by a lot. The move itself went smoothly; all in all going with Direct Van Lines was a cheap and simple option.
