salesman was very active to get our business wich was a move from Iowa to an assisted living apartment complex in Oklahoma. We were told we would get a 24 hr. notice when they would arrive. We recieved a 3 hr. notice. We were told all expenses were added into the contract then we hear from the driver we had to give him another 100 dollars for packing like blankets and bubble wrap.when we called our salesman Brian he said we didnt read the fine print. sooooo we had to give the driver the money. Then we hear from the driver that the load was first going to Chicago for 7-10 business days until they had a full trailer load to go to oklahoma. It actually arrived in oklahoma in 4 days with no advanced notice again. At that point the driver wanted another 150 dollars because he was more that 100 ft from the apartment door. The driver was by himself and told us he couldnt use the elevator. duhhhh he wanted to count all the steps so he could get the extra money which we found out went into his pocket. how can one man carry a couch up 3 flights of stairs by himself. To top this all off The driver raised such a commosion in this assisted living place that the manager had to come there and he in turn had to call the local police. I called the ez mover company and talked to supervisor Steve and he was very unwilling to help resolve these problems and said even though the police were called that he still had to believe his driver. we learned many many things about moving. the number 1 thing is to get a u haul and do it yourself and never. never use this company again.
