Рlеаѕе аdvіѕе реорlе tо nеvеr uѕе Economy Van Lines, аѕ thеy never do what they say. Originally they quoted me around 2000$ & made a fool out of me by signing a contract , which says the if there is any damage then it will be paid by weight (0.60$). Now they have damaged/broke my stuff & they expect me to accept a claim of 62$ based of the weight ,for damaging/breaking my king size bed, lamps, missing watch etc.
Poor customer service, Joey one of the representative was after me till he made me sign the contract but after that he never showed up even after sending emails & leaving messages .
The moving date was set for 20 April, however they moved it to next day (i.e. 21st April). I was expecting the movers between 9am-11pm but they came 4 hours late without a warning which made loading last until late in the evening.
The delivery of the household goods was scheduled for 31st May, however it got moved to an unknown date as the truck carrying my stuff met with an accident. The moving company then hired another company in CA to deliver my stuff. I informed the moving company as I am working professional, & can take the delivery after work only. The truck driver called me around 5pm stated that he has reached my place & was unprofessional/arguing on leaving my stuff on the road itself in case I do not show up before 6pm.
On the moving day after my belongings were unloaded I noticed that one box boxes had broken sides and there were things in them that were damages. The box contained a watch, almost brand new, which is missing now. The movers were actually packing the damaged box in front of me while unloading it from the truck & the truck driver himself confirmed that this stuff was dumped like a crap their storage space.
The moving company charged a total of 3000$ for shipping to safely deliver my stuff , however it ended into both mental as well as physical damage to me.
Need justice.
