I read the reviews on this website to choose some best rated movers before I contacted them. Still disappointed at last. Frankly, this is my worst moving experience so far. This moving was for my relocation from IN to CA. I asked full replacement value insurance with no deductible when I contacted them. I was told they did not offer no-deductible option and the minimum deductible was $250. I did not have much time to shop around then and, now, I think I should have to do it. So I accepted it. I wanted to move one week later, but they had three-day moving window (Tue to Thu). That's fine. In the weekend, the truck driver called me for picking up my stuffs on Monday because he was around town on Monday. I told him I was out of town then and could not be available on Monday. The driver said he would arrive at my apt at 6am on Tuesday. I had an important meeting in early morning on Tuesday so I asked him if he could arrive after 10am on Tuesday. He said no because he was there on Monday. I had to stay there for loading my stuffs. To my surprise, a small moving van (not moving truck) came to pick up. The packing and loading were slow, compared to my previous relocation experience. The inventory list in driver's hand was not latest version. I had to show him my copy to avoid extra charges. But, the driver had an extra Fuel Charge of $95.36, which was not on the original binding quotation. I put the city/state/zip and target delivery date of 10/08/2008 on the delivery form because I had not located apt then yet. They said it was OK. Just notify them after I get the delivery address. Sasha contacted me on 10/1/08 to have my delivery street address, and told me to get it back to her by 10/3/08 to make delivery on 10/8/08. I called her and asked if they can deliver in the weekend after 10/8/08. She said it was OK, just fax the delivery form to her. I faxed information to her on 10/3/08 and changed the delivery date to 10/11/08. I thought everything was OK, and made a travel plan in the weekend of 10/25/08. The ugly parts came from now on. Sasha called me on 10/10/08 (Fri) that they could not make delivery on 10/11/08 and assured me that it must be delivered between 10/14/08 to 10/17/08. I did not get call from truck driver for delivery on 10/14/08 and called Sasha. She cound not reach driver but said it would be delivered by 10/17/08. I finally got hold of the truck driver on 10/15/08 and he was in Las Vegas. I though I would get it by 10/17/08. But I did not get phone call for delivery on 10/16/08. I contacted Sasha again, she could not reach the truck driver and she gave me the manager's phone #. I called the Manager several times before he picked up phone and he was unhappy complaining I called him too often. He told me that there was no delivery that week and he would find out the delivery date the next week. I was not happy. He said he did not care. Later he told me the delivery would be between 10/22/08 to 10/24/08. The truck driver called me on 10/23/08 that delivery time would be from noon to 4pm on 10/24/08. I just had enough time for the schedule weekend travel. At noon on 10/24/08, I called driver, he told me delivery would be from 4pm to 7pm. I told him it was too late due to my travel plan and asked him to make first delivery when he arrive my town. The driver said no. I asked if he could deliver the next Monday when I come back. He said I would be charged $500 for redelivery. I had to find a friend to accept delivery. When I called the truck driver again to set the delivery time, he told me that delivery must be made before 9pm. When I came back the next Monday, my friend told me the truck driver delayed it again to midnight. So my friend asked the next early moring delivery. The delivery was finally made at noon on 10/25/2008. Most of boxes were deformed someway. I found at least two items missing: a big wooden framed mirror and a wooden cutting board. I wanted to call them to file a claim, but recalled my moving insurance has $250 deductible. The replacement value of the two items is not over $150. I will never use this mover again even for free.
