Very late on pick-up but they made up for it

First off, we scheduled a May 29th or 30th pick up date in the understanding that we could be picked up either of the 2 days but would recieve a call within 24 hours of the move from either the dispatcher or driver. The 28th came and no call from anyone so I called and spoke to my original sales rep Michael who reassured us that we would recieve a call shortly from Josh or the driver Robert. That was at 10am and finally at 4pm Josh had called and said that the driver was held up in Chicago at another customers home and would not be LEAVING Chicago for at least another day. WTF I thought, I really felt that they were passing me off due to where I was located and I even called about 10 other companies and they said there was no way they could pick me up in North Dakota this time of the year and the one local company I got quoted us double what America's Moving quoted us so we felt we could wait it out. Next morning at 10am we recieved another call from Josh saying that Robert did in fact get out of Illinois and was heading our way and would be to us the next morning at 8am sharp and Robert would call us shortly. Robert did call at around 2pm to let us know to be ready the next morning between 8 and 9. So, 7am Robert was at our door and from that point on the worries we had were totally aleviated. Robert and Mark were incredible, friendly, efficient and packed up everything within 8 hours of arriving. Robert told us he was going to the weight station to weigh the truck and we would get a call from someone at the office with our weights and final pricing. The next morning Josh called us and let us know that our weight had been a little lower than the estimated weight and that they were also deducting $300.00 for Robert arriving late, so our price went from $5,820.00 to $5,300.00 which wound up being great. We really respect America's Moving Services and the fact that they took care of us and we also learned that patience instead of being rude brought us a better experience. In the end, americas moving services was a pleasure to deal with and a very reasonable company to do business with. Definately would use them again. No damages on the other end either.
