I was happy to deal with a responsible Interstate Moving Company like Go East Movers. The last time I moved across the country the moving company broke the dining table top and that cost me about $350 but they only offered $32 as compensation for the damages incurred. I was hopping mad to say the least. When your things are being transported across the country its normal to expect some damages and its acceptable as long as the company is willing to take responsibility for it. When I used the services of Go East Movers a mirror came back cracked but they sent their inspectors over and took care of the compensation within a week. I will definitely do business with them in future.
