I’ve been planning my move for almost 3 months now, and so I spoke to many moving companies before settling on one, one with a very convincing salesman. I won’t mention their name so that it won’t come back to me, but it turned out to be a shady broker company, who then sold my move to an actual moving company. At least I found out in time. So, after cancelling my reservation with them, I was back searching for movers. I searched online a bit, and found Great American moving vans, and entered my info for a quote on their website, and had a salesperson call me literally within minutes. I went over what I was planning on moving, and got a quote that seemed reasonable, definitely much cheaper than the broker company I originally booked with. But, I was hesitant to book with someone quickly, so after making sure they were an actual moving company, I kept their quote and spoke to another 3 or 4 companies, but didn’t hear anything that was similarly priced and seemed decent. So I moved last week with great American van lines, and I’m really glad I did! The price was exactly the same as on the quote, the guys were quick, and they even gave me a month of free storage for all my things while I sort out my living situation. The movers were nice enough, and thankfully careful with everything. Couldn’t be more satisfied! Would definitely recommend to others!
