I contacted a few moving companies before I found great american van lines . The other companies didn't even bother responding to my inquiries. brian called me back promptly. He gave me a good rate with a discount for being flexible with pickup and dropoff dates. I also got a written estimate which outlined the flat rate very clearly.
On the day of the move, brian called me and gave me an update on what time the movers were expected to arrive. We had three movers - joni dan and francisco . They were all friendly and polite. Most importantly, they were very efficient and took great care of my expensive furniture. All furniture got completely wrapped, disassembled and reassembled. They also provided blanket free of charge.
All in all, our move from jersey city nj to washington dc went really smoothly. Everything got delivered within 3 days of pickup by the same crew. I highly recommend great american van lines .
