I move frequently for my job, when my company assigned me to the Chicago branch I started searching for a trustworthy company. After filling out the free estimate form online, great american van lines was among the companies that contacted me. After speaking with their sales department I was quoted a reasonable price which was within the budget my company had given me.
The day before my scheduled move they called to confirm my move and ask what time would be convenient for me. On the morning of the move the driver called to say that they were on the way and amazingly enough they were right on time!
The movers packed and wrapped up all our stuff very quickly and carefully. The entire pick up part of the move was done in approximately 3 hours. There was no haggling or back and forth with the price on the move day. I was assured of this when I booked the job,
The delivery was within the time frame which I had requested and again there were no additional charges on the delivery day. All my furniture and boxes arrived in good shape with nothing broken, damaged or missing. I had a great experience with Great American Van Lines and would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family.
