I recently moved from NJ to MI. I called several companies, some of which would not even do an in-house estimate (only online). I had two companies who did visual estimate at my house (Great American van lines being one of them). The level of professionalism exhibited by the agent was excellent. He was thorough in doing his estimate, which I believe helped in determining the cost (which never changed). I packed myself. On the pick-up date, the driver was at my house perfectly on time. It was a Friday with a delivery date set for Monday after 11 am in Michigan. On Monday at 11 am, the driver called me to inform that he was about half hour from my home. He arrived within that time frame. Everything was delivered. If you are planning a move, consider Great American van lines.
