Altogether, we were pleased with the job done by the movers, but were very disappointed by how tardy the movers were at arrival. We expressed urgency about the timing of our move given our freight elevator constraints on timing and were told that a tight window should not be a problem.
However, the movers arrived a half hour later than our previously scheduled time and consequently we ran beyond the time we were given. We didn't even know they were running late until we called the office, and then they returned our call - no heads up made in advance. While I'm grateful for the good job they did with our move, I think the half hour lateness was unacceptable - it's important to arrive at the time scheduled, or at least call to let us know they were running late.
