Seeing the great review comments and ratings I selected Green Van lines for moving from Chicago to Dallas.On the day of shifting, few guys came from a company called 'Statewide Relocation' and told me that 'Green Van lines' has assigned this work to us.When I checked with Green Van lines, they said they are our partner company, you can trust them.Since I need to vacate my apartment on the same day, I was forced to go with the new movers which I never heard of.
They delivered the items to my destination with a slippage of few days.But after the truck left my house, we realized that 2 boxes are missing.When we asked the truck driver, he said 'I unloaded whatever I received, if you missed something call your movers'.I was forced to coordinate between 3 different entities 1)Green van lines 2)Statewide relocation3) Truck Driver.
Finally I realized that I lost those items forever .I approached CSI for claim, they offered $50 which was not even 10% of my loss.So I denied.
So you think and decide whether to go with green van lines..
My Learning : Never go as per ratings alone, check with friends about their experiences about movers before paying anything.
