Please stay away from this moving company. I used them once in the past and the service was pretty good, so I used them again. What a mistake! Total miscommunication, one person told me one story about the timing of move, and one told me another. Dispatch had horrible attitude toward me.. ZERO customer service.
They lied about what services were provided and paid for, ie, packing and unpacking, the removal of boxes, etc. They tried to charge me extra for stair cases I had made them completely aware of in the rate quote stage. THEN- there's the condition my things were in upon arrival. More than half my china was broken, a very nice chair leg broken, leather framed mirror w/tape removed top layer of leather which totally defaced it, and the list goes on! They sent me over to "claims" dept and was on hold forever. I can almost guarantee they won't reimburse me or refund any of my money. Plus, left messages that were of course, never returned. They are counting on my not pursuing the claim; that's why they make it so hard for you to get through. They ought to be following up with me to make sure all went ok, but they do NOT care. I'm convinced I will never hear back from them.
Driver was supposed to contact me 24hrs in advance...he called me 1 hour in advance. Further I was accused of "harassing" the driver, who's # I never even had! (I was given an apology for that by Lydia after she ripped me) Lydia was the most courteous & helpful before that incident.
All & all- VERY stressful and TOTALLY unprofessional. Driver suddenly spoke no English when I asked about unpacking & box removal. Sam in their office said "whatever they pack for you they un-pack for you" Total fiction!! It can't be easy for them, moving biz is tough, but moving is stressful enough w/out people who care NOTHING about your experience, mistreat your possesions, and this is their JOB? Those folks are definately in the wrong business.
