Let's put the fact that I was promised one rate and then charged several hundred dollars more AFTER they put out stuff on their truck and focus on my current issue. I was orally promised by the representative that booked my move as well as the movers themselves that my household goods would be shipped immediately. In fact, I was told I needed to race to my new home or I would miss the delivery. It has now been 1 1/2 months later with no delivery, no promise of delivery, and no concern or attempt on the part of any representative. Yes, the back of the contract once the movers came to pick up my belongings explained a 7-21 day delivery window, but that was never discussed with us and was the opposite of what was promised. At best, this is false advertising and unsound business practices. At worst, the caviler way in which my concerns are (more like aren't) being handled during my multiple calls on this matter are illegal. All calls either go straight to voicemail, I'm "accidently" hung up on, told "that's not my department," or given promises that are broken time and time again. Never, I repeat NEVER use this excuse for a company.
