Never Showed Up, Never Called, Never Apologized

I decided to take a solid month before sitting down to write this review, as I wanted to be as fair and objective as possible. That being said, I wouldn't believe anything that these people tell you. Not even "hello'. In fact, if they come in from out doors soaking wet and tell you it's raining, grab a beach ball and sunscreen. My contact person was Cliff. I read a lot of review for a lot of moving companies online, and almost every one of them had horrible reviews, so I had no idea which were legitimate complaints and which were web-slander. I can tell you that every horrible thing that you read about Infinity Van Lines is true. My move was schedules for June 27th. When emailed two days before, I was assured that everything was fine and that the movers would be there on schedule, though they did not yet have an exact pickup time, and asked me to call them back the next day. I called the following day and became a bit concerned when the girl on the phone said that Cliff wasn't in, followed with "I am sure he put you on the schedule for tomorrow". She went on to say that I would get a call from the movers by 8:00 in the evening to verify the time. When I asked what I should do if I don't hear from them, she said to give the office a call and leave a message and someone would get back to me right away. Needless to say, the call never came, and the next morning, which was a Saturday, I called the office first thing only to find out they don't have Saturday hours. What moving company doesn't have Saturday hours? Isn't that that day most people move???? I left several messages and when it became clear that no one was going to get back to me, I made other arrangements. I called the offices back on Monday, and Cliff wasn't in. The person I spoke with who I assume was a receptionist offered to reschedule the move and I informed her that I made other arrangements and that I expected to have my deposit charge on the credit card reveresed and a call from Cliff. It was clear to me that he was in the office, as I believe he was the day before the move and that he was ducking me. He never, ever called or responded to an email, and was not in the office each time I called. No one from his office returned a call or offered any kind of apology. I am posting the contents of an email from Cliff, when I asked him about the negative reviews. He stated the following: "There are alot of moving companies and any one can post anything on the internet. We do alot of business and like any company we have some complaints however majority of the ones you see on the web are fake. Companies slander other companies to gain market share its a competitive industry. The other point is there is a company called Infinity Movers and they sometimes get confused with us and there complaints get posted to us. We are accredited with the Better Business Bureau and any complaint that was made to them in the last three years has been resolved in a timely fashion. The majority of legitimate complaints against us was a result of us doing pick ups for other companies that contracted us to do their moves because they were unable and time frames and promises that they made to their clients were not relayed to us but because we physically did the move we were held responsible. For this reason we no longer take jobs form other movers and we do not contract out our jobs to other movers. I hope this helps to clarify things." These people are liars of the worst sort. Believe every bad thing you hear about them. Their level of unprofessionalism cannot be exaggerated. Caveat Emptor.
