I did the typical quote request and ended up with multiple companies contacting me regularly.
Originally Matt with Interstate Movers contacted me and went over the list.
I let him know I was still finalizing dates and number of boxes and would be in touch in 2 weeks. I was told the rate per cf would stay the same.
I got a call in 1 week and got the story about rates going up and the need to lock in. I told Matt I would talk to him in 1 week.
I then received a call from a girl saying Matt was no longer with the company. The high pressure sales really started. I was told the rate was increasing and I needed to book right now. She continued to push and wouldn't let me get a word in. After the long winded talking down to I told her their quote was already about $100 high and they would need to come down not up for me to be interested.
Then she became completely rude! She went off and ultimately hung up on me.
They were roughly $100 or more from the average quote and $200 higher than the lowest quote I received.
