Not being originally from the US I wasn't sure how moving companies here work and I'd heard a lot of mixed stories from friends and colleagues. However, one friend in particular told me to give Interstate Movers a go as he'd had a very well-executed move with them about a year back. I contacted them and they were actually great - I was taken care of by one representative right the way through the process, and was able to keep making little changes to my inventory etc until just a couple of days before the move, which really helped as I was making a lot of last-minute decisions about what to keep and what to sell. I was also pleasantly surprised that the pick-up and delivery were on time, as I was expecting the usual delays and excuses. Thanks Interstate for making a Brit feel at home!
