We recently hired JET LINES MOVING AND STORAGE to move our belongings from San Francisco CA to Indianapolis IN. Our belongings were picked up on July 24th at 9 AM and delivered 2 weeks later on August 6th at 9 AM. During the delivery, we noticed that some of the delivered goods were missed and/or broken.
The movers picked up a METALLIC BED FRAME from California, but did not deliver it. In other words, this item was missing on delivery. NEVER DELIVERED !!!!!
The DINING TABLE has a major noticeable dent on one side of the table (center). This one broken blemish really spoils the entire aesthetic of this 1500$ dark wooden table.
One of the support wheels on the KITCHEN ISLAND is broken and completely detached from the table bottom. The wheel has not come unscrewed but a screwed wooden chip along with the wheel has detached making restoration impossible. The island is unstable and obviously cannot stand on 3 wheels and is therefore unusable.
The FUTON support stand on the back is broken. It has completely detached from the frame which makes it hard to now use it as a bed. When the sofa is converted and flattened out, there is no ‘support’ at the bottom which makes the bed flat. This makes this futon useless and unusable.
NONE OF THE ITEMS 'WE' PACKED WERE BROKEN. THIS COMPANY NEVER RESPONDED TO ME IN TIME ABOUT THESE ISSUES AND ARE REFUSING TO APPROPRIATELY REIMBURSE US FOR DAMAGED ITEMS. I UNDERSTAND THAT THERE ARE ALWAYS ISSUE OF INSURANCE, BUT THEY DO NOT EVEN PAY YOU FOR ITEMS THEY DID NOT DELIVER. I REALIZE THAT THIS IS A DIFFICULT BUSINESS, BUT THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST UNSCRUPULOUS BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.
Moving is not an easy experience, and when you trust them to take care of your stuff as you move from one state to another, it breaks my heart that they broke this trust. I have a lot more issues with this company beyond those mentioned, but I see that you will get the picture.
CAUTION: They have a SATISFACTORY rating on the BBB website and that's why I picked them. Please go with another mover. I have also filed complaints against them with the BBB...
