After soliciting several moving companies, I decided to use Liberty Moving Group due to the initial customer service by Hayden, the sales manager.
It was confirmed that the truck will arrive at my home for pick up at 12 noon. The day before the initial move, it was further confirmed that the truck will be there between 12 and 1 pm. On the date of the move, I received a call from the driver at 12:30 indicating that he will not arrive at my home until 2:15 as he had a prior job. The truck did not arrive to my home until 3:30. When we called headquarters as to the reason for the delay and lack of consideration, we were told that they did not understand the problem. Furthermore, they wanted to continue to charge us for travel time knowing that at that time of the day they were going to face traffic. Furthermore, it was not made clear in the estimate that I would be charged to wrap my mirrors. In addition, I was charged for the use of tape, which they used to keep the padding to the furniture. The movers did not come with any tools to disassemble the furniture and used mine without even asking. They used poor care in handling my belongings and my bedroom furniture was scratched.
I will never use this service again!!!
