Got sold by Alan Lefort @ All State Van Line Relocation, Inc. Sounded great. San Diego to Chicago for $4,300. Inventoried twice, he called twice to check in. Comfortable start.
Complete and utter disaster from there with lies, deceit, and awful communication until we got our stuff 30 days later.
Jennifer McGibbon got the role of our moving coordinator. She shouldn't even work at a gas station. Not sure how it got handed/brokered to Low Cost Moving Company but nobody EVER mentioned it would be brokered to criminals in Los Angeles. Would you hire a company called Low Cost Moving to move you from across country? I would NEVER have. Broker to the lowest bastards you can find moving company...
Jennifer said they would be at my home Monday morning. They showed up Tuesday at 5pm. Drunk. Literally. It unraveled Monday mid-day as communication from Jennifer McGibbon/All State Van Lines/Low Cost Moving.
Our stuff sat in Los Angeles from Wednesday, August 28th until Tuesday, September 18th. 3 weeks. Jennifer lied dozens of times saying 'dispatch' wasn't available. Jewish holidays...etc.
Never once heard how much it weighed...never once heard about Low Cost Moving and never once was told about process of delivery. I asked, trust me. I begged for information, every single day. It sat for 3 weeks and nobody knew ANYTHING about timing of delivery, if my load was safe, or when it was even leaving Los Angeles.
Was told it was leaving Monday the 25th of August and arrive by Friday the 20th. It showed up afternoon of Monday the 30th. 30 days later.
After talking with Jennifer McGibbon at All State Van Lines for a month, I get call from some guy named Brian in Los Angeles at Low Cost Moving saying I owe cash at delivery of $1,400 over what I was told. I called Jennifer's boss, Crystal, who said no, I don't owe more, just what All State told me. They said 'deal with me only, you don't owe that, final bill is what we say, deal with me only'. Crystal and Jennifer actually sounded like they were helping me a little bit. I was nervous as Brian from Low Cost Moving (#818-613-5849) was HARRASSING and THREATENING ME to pay or we won't get our stuff. It was unbelievable.
Oh yeah, they neglected to get the city moving van street permits which are EASY and CHEAP to get. So dumb. Jennifer is a complete idiot. They ended up parking in our back alley and getting it done. They let us look at our load but had to pay balance before they unloaded.
Still don't have weigh ticket...that's illegal right?
Low Cost Moving, All State Van Lines, Alan LeFort, Jennifer McGibbon, and Brian at Low Cost should be shut down for business fraud. They are complete criminals and should not be allowed in this industry.
However, we survived the worst experience of our lives unscathed and with our possessions. This is what happened.
