Low Cost Moving claimed to be A+ rated by the BBB but after research, it is clear they are not. They arrived a day late to pick up my things. Their estimate doubled upon arrival. They threatened to leave if I didn't pay them the increased amount at the time of pickup (I was starting a new job and needed to be there within the week so finding another moving company was not an option). They told me they would arrive in Austin 4-7 days after pickup. I contacted them after 7 days. Movers hadn't even left Las Vegas yet. 2 weeks after pick up they finally said they were leaving the warehouse in Vegas that day. 3 weeks after pick up they told me the truck did not pass inspection so they actually hadn't left Vegas yet. 25 days after pick up, they arrived in Austin. Items were broken during the move, they didn't put my furniture (bed etc.) back together, and the boxes were not in the rooms they were labeled with (all were supposed to be included). They only time I received any communication or update was after placing multiple phone calls. My rep stopped returning emails and phone calls after the pick up date. It was an extremely stressful moving experience. My first month in a new city was a mess. I spent an incredible amount of money on things needed until my things arrived (I only packed a suitcase because I was told 4-7 days). I do not recommend using them...ever.
