Beware of this company

I wish I had read the reviews on this company prior to hiring them to conduct my move. The nightmare began when they wrapped my couch and loveseat, each requiring 2-blankets each and each requiring 4 rolls of tape (one roll for each end) - so they say. When asked why did the couches had to be wrapped, my answer was "if not we can't take it". Once at the unloading destination, I was given the total charges of $530.00. WTH!!!!!! I was pissed off sooooo bad that I literally cursed them out. Then on top of that, they didn't even assemble my bed when the contract clearly stated that the quote included assembly, but honestly I was soooo angry about the price that wanted them gone. How do you give an inventory of the stuff you need moved and never be told that your couches need wrapping. If this company considers themselves knowledgeable, then why not make this known to the consumer that your couches need to be wrapped. Then, they charged me $20.00 for Doc. Prep Fee - WTH????? Your charging me for you to fill out your own Bill of Lading!!!!!!!! I called the office this morning. Didn't reveal myself however started asking questions about the packing services. I was told that the blankets were only used to protect wood items, otherwise they are free. Once I revealed myself, I get "hold on, I'm transferring you to a supervisor". Get the supervisor who advised me on the following: We specifically asked the mover about all this extra wrapping, why and how much it was going to cost, to be told I won't know until I arrive at the destination....right then I knew it wasn't going to be pretty. They charged me $125.00 packing fee, which included $29.00 wardrobe box that they used to protect the screen on the BIG screen TV and two blankets. Then 4 blankets on the couches. Each blanket was $10.00 each. 8 rolls of tape @ 4.50 each. Needless to say, according to the Supervisor the blankets are not free and the contract states that all items must be wrapped. Any who, I told her her company sucks and hung up in there faces. This company is a ripe off. BEWARE! Make sure you ask lots of questions about the EXTRA HIDDEN FEES before electronically signing the contract.
