Metro van Lines is not only a totally dishonest company, but probably acts on the borderline of criminal behavior.
We were unlucky enough to use them for a local move. They changed the quote from $700 to $1900 after loading the truck and threatened to take the truck away. They will also force you to sign blank forms which they will change at a later time. The truck they brought in was a budget truck (do not have their own equipment) and a hired illegal immigrant crew.
The other reviews on this site are in all probability written by their own employees - just look at the fancy names used and completely different from reality. Last but not the least, check out the review on the Better Business Bureau site:
