I booked my moving with American National Van Lines and they agreed to have my things picked up on 08/16/20/14. I didn’t realize that the carrier was Most Valuable Movers, New Jersey until they called me to schedule a pickup. I called American National Van lines after I received a call from Most Valuable Movers and they told me that they are my carrier to move my stuff. There was no chance for me to pull back anything at that time.
Finally, they called me on 08/16/14 and told me that they were not able to pick up on schedule time and they arrived on 08/18/14, the driver told me that my items appeared to be more than the quoted square footage. They denied to load my stuff and forced me to pay extra around $500 and I took off some stuff my inventory and I paid $201 for extra Cu.Ft.and my new price was $1538.57. After pick-up my belongings they were in the warehouse for more than a week and the movers arrived on 09/04/2014 to deliver my stuff damaged and incomplete, they could not locate a lot of my missing items (Baby Crib, 2 IKEA folding Chairs, TV Stand Glasses, 1 ironing stand, A big box of our footwear collection, 2 Shelves, A Big box with kitchen utensils, 2 Big Pillows, 1 Flower stand ). I had been in contact several times with American National Van Lines and Most Valuable Movers continued to look for the missing items. They never found them and offered to reimburse me $42, which I did not accept.
