Everyone knows that moving is a pain in the ass. If I were to make a list of things that I would rather undergo than moving, it would include painful medical maladies such as "root canal" or "hemorrhoids". But after the laborious packing and the Gestapo like background check prior to my new lease, the actual 'move' was the easiest part of the whole process, largely thanks to the Moving on Up movers.
To start off, these guys undercut quotes from other big names of Florida moving companies such as Nation Wide Moving, Atlas, North American Van Lines, etc. You would think that lower prices means lower service, but I was pleasantly surprised when the three movers showed up on time for my appt, carefully wrapped everything in blankets, and were on their merry way. They cheerfully accommodated my special requests (such as moving trash bags and milk cartons of stuff) and even disassembled furniture (and re-assembled it post move), which usually merits an extra charge with most of their competitors.
In and out as quick as can be and with everything arriving in one piece, I couldn't be happier with how the move went. Next time I have to go through the move ordeal, these guys are getting my business.
