I have moved across country more than once. I have never been treated by any company like this group of people. Firstly they completely lowball the quote. They do not explain that they charge by cubic foot only, not weight. They demand $200 deposit upon booking. They told me they would be there between 5-7 on a Thursday night. I explain during the quote process it is imperative they arrive on time. Phyllis tells me they will be there without doubt. I give them the $200 deposit. They did not arrive. They don't call and instead I call them at 8:00 the next morning and she tells me she will contact the driver but the log shows he is on his way. I get a call and hour later and its the driver who sounds like he just woke from a deep sleep. Says he will be there in 15 minutes. He calls me 3 hours later and says he cannot find me. An hour and a half after that they arrive. And to add to that the price goes up at least $1000.00 from the original quote..... then DEMAND 50% of your payment right after they arrive in CASH only. They only accept cash or Postal Money orders...alert, alert, alert...When I said no way the driver said he would not load the truck. I said fine. leave. I will call another company. The driver comes back to my door and says his boss wants to talk to me he is on his cell phone. This man calls me multiple names is extremely rude and demands I give his driver cash immediately. I say no and hang up on him and ask the driver to leave again. Driver comes back again and says they will load the truck and wait for payment. I am skeptical of course. The owner then calls me with a complete different tune and says no problem, we will accept the payment at the destination but it must be cash. I say ok... They load the truck. Once truck is loaded driver explains to me they do not enough space in the truck to fit my belongings. The truck is a small unmarked box truck. They need to keep space on this truck for the next pickup... THEN:Owner calls me again and demands the 50% cash payment immediately or they will unload the truck. I say...UNLOAD. He screams obscenities at me and then says he will sue me. Then he calls back and states they will take the items but the balance must be paid by cash at destination site. 2 days later they call and demand a cash deposit into their banking account and text me their bank routing number and account number but insist it must only be cash if I want my stuff. Or they will put it up for auction. At this point I am exhausted. I decide to wait a few weeks to see if they change their tune. They do not. I deposit cash into the bank account specified.... They called to say they would arrive on Monday or Tuesday. They arrived Saturday 2 days early. Not a banking day...Remind you they demand CASH. Can't get thousands of dollars from an ATM machine Saturday night. Arrived at 7 pm. The driver was rude and filthy. He tried to intimidate me and then would not open the truck until I paid him in cash or postal money order for the balance. I cave again and give him the money, IN CASH. Driver states they need to hurry because it is so late and getting dark. They will only unload at gate. If they take it past the gate it will be another $75.00 cash. At this point I am flaming hot angry. However I have my 5 year old daughter with me. She wants her toys. I cannot see the items or even check off the boxes as he unloads because the driver yells at me saying he doesn't have time for this. He needs to get the stuff off the truck. He demands for me to initial his paperwork, he needs to go now. The next morning I see in daylight the extensive damage and loss to all of my things. I do not know what they did but anything glass, or fragile was not just broken but SHATTERED. Furniture was scraped and what was originally wrapped was no longer wrapped the same way the original movers loaded it into truck. This furniture was all newly purchased and was less than a month old. I can go on and on even more, but instead I will just write DO NOT HIRE THIS GROUP. THEY ARE TOXIC.
