We weren't really dead set on choosing a professional moving company. my wife and i have done the u haul thing before. we've never done it long distance like this, but we've done it nonetheless. we were having our friends help us pack some of the boxes and they had heard of moving pros before and suggested we just check out what it would cost. after getting a price quote my wife decided it would be worth the extra money to not have to deal with it. its been a week since we got delivered. my wife and i were out to dinner the other day and we were thinking about how much more difficult this move would have been had we done it ourselves. these guys provide a real value.
