My husband and I selected Nationwide Moving Services due to good reviews from this website. Please keep in mind that Nationwide Moving Services is a company that CONTRACTS out to actual moving companies. They are not a moving company themselves. For this reason, you may have a great experience if you get a good moving company or you may have a poor experience if they pick a company that does not do a good job. It really is a gamble to me. The company used for our move was Quick Easy Movers out of Decatur, GA. In our case, the beginning of the move went well. However, they moved our things from one truck to another and did not notify us of this decision. When they arrived in a truck that was different from the original, we requested to see our belongings before we paid to confirm it was our stuff. As this was not their policy, the contact person at their company became rude on the phone. He then said he did not want to accept our credit card as payment. After arguing for a significant period of time, he agreed to take the payment and our stuff was moved off the trunk. A few of the boxes that were clearly labeled fragile appeared smushed. A handful of dishes were broken, but otherwise things were in good condition. I would say that our experience was below average. Originally, the company said they would arrive on Wednesday, but did not arrive until Friday. No one from the company called to update the customer. Next time we move, we will spend a little more to go with an actual moving company that will not move our stuff from one trunk to another and become upset with their customers because they want to confirm the stuff is actually theirs. The actual customer service department at Nationwide was professional and did what they could to retify the situation when a complaint was made. The actual price for the move was more than the estimate because our stuff weighed more than originally thought.
