A Horrible, Lying Broker that steals your money!

I was trying to move from North Carolina to California about a year ago, and nationwide is a broker company. I did not understand that at the time. It is one of those companies that calls you up if you fill out a form saying you're interested in moving, on a moving website. Many of those kinds of companies call you, and Nationwide are one of them. All I can say is DON'T ever go with companies that get your name from the internet, and then relentlessly call you. They must be desperate for business since all their customers cancel them after horrible customer service, or hear how bad they are and stay away. I wish I would have known how horrible they were before I agreed to go with them. Anyway, here's what happened: The initial guy who called me up was really nice and seemed to be very understanding. He told me "I will take care of everything for you" and "I will move you there" etc. etc - like if he was the one personally who would be doing the moving! Ha! He gave me a window of June 12-15 (this happened last year) and quoted me a price. He also wanted an $800 deposit immediately. I thought I had everything taken care of, and was being so responsible, because it seemed everything was arranged more than a month in advance. I sent the money immediately, and waited a month. Then, I called a few days before the window to make sure everything was set, and they said they had not order whatsoever to send any truck out to me, and didn't know what I was talking about. THEY HAD ALREADY TAKEN MY MONEY! I calle dand called and called person after person at that company, and each one had a different story: Either they didn't know what I was talking about, or: "Oh yes, you're truck will be there to pick up your belonging at the window, like we said" or "WE'll be arranging for a truck right way" etc. etc = a different story for each person. I also got a number of people who were just completely annoyed I was talking to them, and did everything short of telling me to go to hell. Well, the window came and went, no truck. I called them at the end of their "window" and demanded to have my money back. They said they would have someone contact me. 2 days later, someone calls up from Nationwide saying "a truck will be at your door in 30 mintues" ..I was a a bit upset since I asked for my money back, not for a truck anymore, but decided to wait to see if the truck would get here anyway. 5 HOURS LATER no truck arrived, I called them back and called them liars, and demanded again for my money back or else they would be hearing from my lawyer. The guy swore up and down that the truck was supposed to be here, and even gave me the name and phone number of the trucker who was supposed to be coming. So I called the trucker (who is from a different company mind you, because Nationwide, it turned out, was a Broker) and he said "I am 1,000 miles away in a different state, and I've never heard of you. What are you talking about?" I called the main moving company and they said they stopped doing business with Nationwide over a year ago, and have no business with them anymore! So the people at Nationwide lie and lie and lie and lie and take your money. My Lawyer had to call Nationwide and arrange a court date and everything with small claims court. Suddenly, 3 months later, a check from them with my money refunded came in the mail. How about that???? DON'T EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER USE THIS COMPANY, AND WARN ANYONE YOU KNOW WHO'S THINKING OF MOVING, TO STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!
