What started out to be a $1900 move from CT to FL ended up costing me an additional $1000 more PLUS storage, aggravation, and much much more !!!!! Although they said they OVER-estimated the weight, apparently they did not OR the company they subbed out the work to is dishonest. They told me the truck would be weighted BEFORE they picked up my goods and immediately AFTER. NOT !!!!! The moving foreman on the truck said, "the weigh station was closed because it was Sunday so you will have to trust me". SO NOT !!!!! I made them leave and get the truck weight locally, but I have the feeling that everyone got out of the truck except the driver when they had it re-weighed so that my load would be heavier upon re-weight.
Additionally, no one at Nationwide Relo indicated that the moving company would come in and ESTIMATE my move on the day of moving. That's something that should have been done before hand. I was also told by the mover that they DO NOT pack for free. Nationwide Relo told me all that cost was included.
The right hand definitely does not know what the left hand is doing in this place and you get a different story from each and every person you speak to. Using this company was a mistake of GREAT magnitude and I wish I had found this site before I signed on the dotted line. DON'T YOU MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE !!!!!
