Yes, I wish I would've read the previous reviews. My move was scheduled for 5-19/5-20. I was told I would receive a phone call from the dispatcher the day before the move. May 18 no call. I call May 19th, leave several messages, and finally get a call back asking if my move date could be postponed to the 21st or 22nd of May because they were trying to get in touch with a company from Missouri. I agreed and was told I would be compensated 30 dollars per day if the movers didn't come and that my move was now being moved to the top of the priority list. Priority list? Needless to say I was upset because my first day of work was supposed to be May 22nd at my new job and I had to be out of my apartment on May 23rd.
All day May 20th I'm calling my primary contact person no response. May 21st, I was called and the representative Wolfgang (not my primary contact who never called me back by the way) said that they had not found a driver and could I push the date back to the 23rd. I informed them that if my stuff was not out by the 23rd my landlord was going to put everything on the street. I had already asked for several extra days because no one had showed up to move me and I was having my electricity cut off on the 23rd as well.
I was told that they were working hard and it he would be sure to put in my notes I was going to get put out on the 23rd. The 22nd rolls around they still did not have a driver or company nor could they confirm when they would have a driver or company so I had to cancel the move and do everything possible to try to find a moving van for one of the busiest weekends of the 365 days of the year to move, Memorial Day.
After no luck with several companies because they were all booked up I found Budget Van Lines. I thought I called the number to look for a truck rental but t I accidentally called the moving company and thank God they had a moving truck coming my way!!! I had to leave all my stuff and drive 14 hours to Utah from Kansas but two weeks later all my stuff arrived in one piece!!! I'm not sure if it was because I was moving from a small town and Nationwide Relocation couldn't find a company or what but Budget didn't have any problems, even on a short notice.
The one positive thing I can say is that they did refund my money in a timely manner. It took about two weeks.
