This is my review of my experiance with northern vanlines. Overall NVL is a good company. They are knowledgable, hardworking, and honest. I chose this company because a co-worker of mine highly recommended them to me. I had a great move with them so I am also recommending them to others. Most all of the communication is done over the phone these days. This company is one of the few that will always answer the phone regaurdless of the situation. I called in several times in regaurds to delivery info. THe phone conversations never lasted longer than 5 minutes, and I was always well informed. The actual move itself was a rather quick process. 2 men came before the day of the move and packed my items into boxes. Labeled and taped as well. The next day the Movers came, pad wrapped all my existing furniture, then loaded everything. It was a rather quick process. Next, delivery. It is not really specified at the geginning but they give you the regulations for delivery per usdot. Keep in mind this is a full service moving company that services all of the us. Not just one state. My delivery took about a week and a half, but I was called several times. I recieved a call stating i was loaded and in transit, as well as i got a call 48 hours prior to delivery, and again 24 hours prior. This company is top notch, my actuall delivery/unload took maytbe 3-4 hours, and I was in my new cozy home. Great job guys, and good luck with your business, you have my vote, and recommendations
