With the holiday season upon us I knew it would be hard to make arrangements for a move. Most companies have a last minute fee. I was recommended Northern Vanlines by a friend of mine in Alabama that had used them prior. I gave them a call and was directed to a sales representative named Alicia. She was very knowledgable and polite. Withing 30 minutes she had quoted me and explained the whole process pickup to delivery. Upon pickup i was called 24-48 hours in advance, by wes. To inform me of an exact pickup time. I got another call from the driver the day of my move just to give me a heads up. The overall load process took about 5 hours, I had a lot of furniture. As well as it took roughly the same 5 hours to pack. One crew was packing while the other crew was loading. After pickup, I was placed into storage for a few days until they scheduled a delivery route.Within 2-3 days I received a call letting me know my items were in transit. Delivery was smooth and took maybe 4-5 hours to unload. I never had any problems, damages or anything of that nature. Best experience ever.
