This company (and all the other companies they own) are just a scam. The story is the same for all their customers, they are given a price and once the belongings are picked up, they are told the weight is more than on the original quote. Upon delivery, they demand cash of double and triple the original price. If their extortion doesn't work, they drop the belongings in storage and refuse to answer phone calls for weeks. The only way I got their attention was to get Fox News involved. They never delivered my belongings but it didn't stop them from calling and threatening me quite a few times. What I learned about this scam...when they came to pick up my belongings, their license has been suspended so they weren't even legal to pick up my belongings. A fact they neglected to tell me. Also, to change the rate, they legally had to write a new contract before taking my belongings. The US DOT deemed the increase not valid and ordered them to deliver, they refused. They never did deliver my belongings. They finally admitted to not having possession of my belongings and blamed the "other moving company" they hired. (really? My moving company hired a moving company? Get real) The other moving company (who I'm sure consist of the two named Issac and Zoe who had been calling and threatening me as well who did work for Northern) denied having it either, said it was in the drivers name and he was long gone. They don't even have their own drivers, they just hired scabs to drive for them. Amy also tried to charge me multiple extra costs and said she wouldn't deliver unless I contacted everyone I complained to about them and tell them I lied. I told her there was nothing I lied about and no way I would do that. Amy has multiple last names and owns multiple moving, landscaping, investment companies all who have no real address. If you try to find them at their address, they are all phony addresses. Her husband is Chris Michalski. Amy says she's Joe Theismann's daughter but she lies about everything else so I doubt that is true either. Any good review you find from them, they have written themselves so don't believe it. These people are lower than pond scum and I hope their karma catches up with them soon.
