My wife and I have used Northern Van Lines twice to move within the Brooklyn. We took care of the packing and the movers did the rest (honestly, I don't get why some people let movers do the packing and then complain that things are "strangely" mixed; also if you really care about some delicate rare china set you should probably transport it yourself, but I digress...) We have never been disappointed. The movers are extremely professional and fast, but always paying extra care not to scratch or damage anything (by the way, they are also insured). Their rate is fair considering the kind of service you are getting.
