Finding a good moving company is really hard. There a lot of scams and fakes out there. I used word of mouth recommendation crossed with internet recommendations, to find a quality moving service for me. It was between Northern, Allied, and Axis. Northerns initial quote was price per pound, and cheaper than the other two. Still based at the same weight they were significantly cheaper. The sales team walked me through the whole process. Already this company was honest, and very thorough. I chose Northern. My initial move went rather quickly, it only took one day to load me up and get me in transit. I purchased the straight delivery, so my items arrived in a few short days. Upon delivery I had no damages or scratches. First and foremost this company is straight forward, and really honest. Two good character traits. Secondly, they are very thorough, and keep communication up, to keep you informed through your whole moving process. And, last but not least, the movers are very polite, most of all, strong and perserving.
