This company need to do a much better job at estimating a move. The original estimate for moving my one bedroom apartment was $1561.00. The price continued to increase throughout the move until it was almost double the original estimate. When I asked for a quote for them to pack the apartment they failed to tell me the quote did not include the boxes, tape and paper – that was an additional charge. When delivering the furniture – knowing it was going to an apartment building – they brought it in a huge tractor/trailer rig that they couldn’t get close to the apartment building so that was an additional $200 because they had to carry the stuff a little further – and they wanted cash or postal money order right then and there before they would bring the furniture in. They also were suppose to pick up the furniture on Monday with Tuesday being the back-up day. They failed to call and tell me it was going to be Tuesday so I sat around Monday waiting for them. Finally, after calling them twice I was told they would be there on Tuesday. Next time I will go with a more reputable company even if the estimate is higher – there probably won’t be so many “surprises”.
