Metro Van Lines / Personal Touch Movers nickle and dime you for everything - correction - nickle and dime is an UNDERSTATEMENT - they jack up your total costs by HUNDREDS. Metro Van Lines / Personal Touch Movers' low hourly rate is far from the total rate you will end up paying. I asked them over the phone specifically what my costs will be and Gia conveniently failed to mention other very significant costs like 1 hour to-and-from costs, a 15% fuel charge and ridiculous cloth charges. Additionally, they quote you for 3 men, but one of the men is an overseer who doesn't lift anything - thereby extending your moving time and therefore your total costs!
In contrast, I had a great experience with hireahelper.com and will be using them to match me with more ethical movers to complete this move and others.
