I'm giving this company 5 stars because they were everything I was expecting with no surprises.
They charged me exactly the price I was quoted over the phone, which was very reasonable compared to other companies' quotes. I also opted to have them take care of the parking meter permits for me, which cost an extra $97 per location (which is standard for most, if not all, moving companies).
The two men who moved me were super friendly and funny, and extremely efficient. I was shocked that my entire move was done in 2.5 hours (which was exactly the time that was estimated over the phone). They were extremely careful with my valuables and LCD television, and were generally great, fun guys to spend a couple of hours with. It didn't even bother them that my dog was whimpering and crying the whole time since I had him tied up.
My only suggestion for Yelpers who are considering this company: if you decide to get meter permits yourself in order to eliminate the fee, when you get to City Hall make sure you ask if Special Forces Moving has faxed them a letter allowing you to use their bond. SFM took care of that for me, but I didn't know that they had, and I wasted my trip to City Hall.
