I had a standard 3 bedroom condo. Called Nick in sales and he asked me what items I had in each room. I told him exactly what I had. ALSO, I packed every room with the exception of wrapping my furniture.
Nick stated the company was family owned. HA! Movers were suppose to pack me up on a Thursday and would be at my condo at 8am. I waited until 11am and called Nick to ask where the movers were. Nick was at lunch and whomever answered the phone gave me a number for dispatch. Couldn't understand a word dispatch said. Called again at 3pm, then they gave me the number for the driver. Ernest the driver, stated they were running behind and would it be ok if they could come on Friday. They were at my condo for 13 hours until 2am.
I was told by Nick my furniture would be delivered the next day. The driver Ernest said no, we are putting your furniture in storage until we get a driver that will be going to NC, I was not told that over the phone. If Nick had told me they were putting my furniture in storage I would have said nope, I'm calling a different company.
LONG story short, the quote i was given over the phone was DOUBLED.
BEWARE!!!!The driver is in on the scam along with the company. The driver gets 50% of every move.
